Angela M. Hill. Pharm.D., CPh is a mother, wife, pharmacist, professor, administrator, and entrepreneur. She received her pharmacy education from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy, and has spent her pharmacy career specializing in geriatrics, and specialty areas such as neurology, psychiatry, and alternative medicine.
She is currently the founding Chair and Professor of the Department of Pharmacotherapeutics and Clinical Research, and Associate Dean of Clinical Practice at the University of South Florida College of Pharmacy. She has pursued business adventures as a pharmacy consultant, florist, gamer, in real estate, travel, and is currently an independent consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics, Inc. Dr. Hill believes in creating multiple streams of income and maximizing your potential using your God given talents, networking, collaborating, and giving to others. Dr. Hill is a woman of strong faith, and lives on the biblical verses Phillipians 4:13 which states that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and Luke 12:48 which states that “For unto whom so much is given, of him shall be much required.”
She is a member of numerous pharmacy organizations, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, Carmel Friendship Baptist Church, and serves on several community boards while managing marriage, motherhood, and making a living. Veronica Blakely is a native of Tampa, Florida where she is an educator, community volunteer, and former corporate manager. While opportunities gained in the business sector enriched her life, she considers being a teacher the most important, challenging, and rewarding experience of her career. The idea of transforming a person’s mind from, “I can’t” to “I can,” is a very humbling and rewarding experience.
In addition to Veronica’s many talents, she was a movie extra in Ocean’s Eleven which was filmed in St. Petersburg, FL. She is also a former NFL cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Bucs and for the WFL (World Football League) Tampa Bay Bandits. Veronica has performed in several local plays and she has produced and directed numerous Gospel Productions in Tampa. Veronica is a former President and Area Governor of a Toastmaster’s International Public Speaking club.
As a community volunteer, Veronica has been the workshop facilitator and Board Member for the Tampa Organization of Black Affairs Youth Oratorical Scholarship Contest, Loaned Executive for the United Way, Co-Chair/Program Manager for the MLK, Jr. Breakfast and NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet, and Co-Host with local TV News Anchors for community events. Hannah’s Shoebox has been recognized by among others, the Centre for Women in Business, Tampa Bay Minority Enterprise Development Week and 1Million Cups-Tampa. The company was also selected to participate in the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Startup Scholars program, and is a finalist for the Chamber’s Small Business of the Year. Hannah’s Shoebox is currently a participant in the Community Incubator of the University of Tampa’s John P. Before creating Hannah’s Shoebox, Colette was an Associate Vice President for Community Relations at the University of South Florida, where she created many sustainable relationships and programs throughout communities in the Tampa Bay region. Clemmie Perry is the Founder and Executive Director of Women of Color Golf (WOCG), and Girls On the Green Tee (GOTG-T). The mission of WOCG & GOTG-T is to promote and facilitate the inclusion of minority women and girls into the game of golf. WOCG seeks to create a spark of interest and inspiration in the game of golf. This inspiration is then turned into action with organized golf clinics, recreational golf events, business networking & mentoring opportunities. WOCG started in 2014, and has introduced over 400 minority women & girls to the fundamentals of golf in the Tampa & St. Petersburg, Florida bay area and Washington, D.C.
Women of Color Golf (WOCG) and Girls on the Green Tee (GOTG-T) programs have grown into a nationally recognized community-based organization, with recent recognition by former President Barack Obama, as a U.S. White House Champion of Change for After School Programs for Marginalized Girls.
WOCG has been featured in Forbes, Ebony, Black Enterprise, Golf for Her, Professional Golf Association (PGA) magazine, the African American Golfer’s Digest, Onyx Magazine – Women on the Move, Bay News 9, The Tampa Bay Community Network Sports TV, Tee Time Florida TV and several other local media broadcasts. Clemmie Perry has over 20 years’ experience working for two Fortune 500 companies (Lockheed Martin Corporation and Florida Power & Light Company). At Lockheed Martin Corporation, Ms. Perry served as the Corporate E-Learning Training Manager. She was responsible for managing virtual learning teams and developing online corporate training materials for 130,000 Aerospace & Defense employees. At Florida Power & Light Company in Miami, she was responsible for electrical distribution systems training and the implementation of smart grid & smart meter technology training programs.
Clemmie earned her B.S. degree from Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida and an M.S. from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
